 For this week's challenge I used this cute little girl by Phyllis Harris...A Beauty All It's Own...

I pulled out my aqua pens for this creation...added a fun wintery dsp for the background...Such a sweet stamp...

Can You Case It #142

Hi there and Welcome to this week's Can You Case It Challenge! I am glad that you stopped by!

With the holidays in full swing I have pulled out all of my stamps for Christmas and have started making all sorts of fun things for friends and family...Often times I make cards for them and I always like to make my own tag to complete their gift...Below is the tag that I made for a friend of mine...she loves my cards and I always make her a set this time of year...I often use a clear bag to wrap cards in...purple is such a fun color...I love how it pops!

Here is the my tag...

I used one of my go to sets from Neat and Tangeled...Very Merry...I love how the Merry fits on my tag...I used SU! Blackberry Bliss and once again pulled out my sponge brayer...I am on a "sponge brayer" kick these days...I went through my embellies and found this sparkly snowflake...I tied a bit of white twine to tie around the coordinating SU! ribbon...I can't wait to add this bow to my friend's gift...

Can You Case It #141

Hi there and Welcome back to Can You Case It! With Christmas around the corner I thought this sketch had endless possibilities with a CAS Christmas card...I pulled out my two favorite SU! Christmas colors...Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow...and pulled out my sponge brayers and started playing around with the background...and I wanted a sentiment that was too much...I pulled out this from one of my Papertrey Ink and a few red sequins...I love how the background turned out...

OSAT Blog Hop ~ Let It Snow

Hi there and Welcome to this month's OSAT Blog Hop..Let It Snow! For this month's hop I pulled out one of my favorite SU! Christmas Sets...Festival of Trees...I love this set not only for the beautiful trees but the versatility this set has...

Here is what I came up with

I used SU! Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, and Mossy Meadows...a great color combo...I went through my stash of tags and found this one...thought it would be perfect for a gift card...made a little gift tag to go along with it...and to finish I went through my ribbon stash and found some SU! ribbon to complete it!

Just What I Needed...

Last night I started pulling out my Christmas stamps...paper..embellies and got a bit overwhelmed! So instead of doing a traditional Christmas card I decided to do a non-traditional one instead

Here is what I came up with,,,

I used Unity's Just What I Needed set...pulled out my aqua pens (I seem to be on a kick with them lately) and played around with different reds and green...I ended up using SU! Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive...two of my go to Christmas colors...I played around with a few different die cuts and found a wooden Christmas tree and used my aqua pen to make it green...love how it turned out!

Hi there and Welcome back to Can You Case It! I am happy to be creating cards again to inspire you all! 

Here is this week's challenge

I love this color combo..especially kraft...

Here is what I came up with

I used one of my new stamps from Unity...See the Light...I also dusted off my aqua pens and some of my Stampin' Up! inks...Hello Honey, Pumpkin Pie, and Crumb Cake and some of my  water coloring paper and started to play around with my pens...it was a fun card to make! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Fall Into Fall PCC#215

Fall is finally making an appearance here in Northern Virginia and needless to say I love it! This is my favorite time of the year with all the beautiful fall colors...for this challenge I used one of my new SU! sets...Totally Trees...love it! Plus I dusted off one of my fav sentiments set...Good Greetings to make this CAS fall card for this week's PCC Fall into Fall Challenge...

For the trees I used SU! Chocolate Chip...I grabbed a SU! stamping sponge and SU! Mossy Meadows to make the grass and the sentiment thankful for you...for the sunset I grabbed my sponge brayers and played with Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight to where I thought was the perfect color combination...Needless to say my fingers are very colorful right now...it was messy but fun to make!

October Oh My Pumpkins and Pie Blog Hop

Hi there and Welcome to this month's OSAT October's Oh My Pumpkins and Pie Blog Hop! I love this time of year and love this theme! For this month's blog hop I pulled out some fun Halloween paper from Carta Bella Trick or Treat Collection...Halloween weekend we are heading on over to a friend's house and I wanted to bring a fun gift so I ended up making a wine tag, wine coasters, and a cute bag to put a note into...the note actually is a journal tag from the collection...I love using these tags as fun note cards...I hope you like what I made!

Can You Case It #138 Shaker Challenge

Hi there and Welcome to this week's Can You Case It? Shaker Challenge...I have to admit I was definitely out of my comfort zone with this challenge...this is the first shaker card that I have ever made! I struggled and headed over to Pinterest to find some help and inspiration! I pinned a couple of different types of shaker cards and this is what I came up with...

I pulled out this cute stamp that I got from Neat and Tangled...For the background I used Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight ink...I grabbed my trusty sponge brayer and had a lot of fun with these colors...I used a SU! clear envelop to be like a clear shaker card...I will be investing in a fuse tool in the near future but in the mean time these envies will be perfect!

It's back to school time for me...Tomorrow I head back to the classroom! This year I have changed schools so I am a newbie again and have a wonderful co-teacher who has been a great help and I made this cute bag for her with some goodies for this year! I found this cute bag on Etsy...I pulled out my hole punch to make it look like a piece of notebook paper...definitely a perfect gift bag for a teacher...Can't wait to give it to her!

OSAT Blog Hop ~ Dog Days of Summer

Hi there and Welcome to his month's OSAT Blog Hop ~ Dog Days of Summer

Well my dog days of summer are coming to an end...in a couple of weeks I will be heading back to the classroom...this will be my 22nd year of teaching...where has the time gone? I have been enjoying my summer with being able to spend time with my son, cleaning and decluttering my house, enjoying a second cup of coffee and a bit of crafting...and avoiding the heat and humidity of Northern Virginia!

My dogs below are definitely enjoying these dog days of summer too...

My projects for this month's challenge you can definitely see that I have school on the brain! I pulled out some fun school journal cards and embellies from Simple Stories, a fun notebook bag I found on Etsy, and some neat paper from Echo Park...then went to town!
