Hi there and Welcome to this week's Can You Case It #151 ~ Sketch Challenge

I really love Rose's sketch for this week's challenge and once I saw it I had the perfect stamp in mind...Rebuild Your Life by Angie Blom and Lisa Arana 

I decided to use a circle instead of a square and stamp a little bit outside of the die cut with the leaf and stem...

I also water colored with my stamp ink which I love doing these days...

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Can You Case It #150

Hi there and Welcome to this week's Can You Case It #150 Color Challenge...

For this week's challenge I used one of my fav Angie Blom Stamps...Grace Of Letting Go...

I love these colors...and it is definitely a combo that I would never of thought of putting together...I didn't have any copper so I used a burnt yellow instead...I found some fun patterned paper that I thought went perfect with the color combo...

CYCI #149

Hi there and Welcome to this week's CYCI #149 ~ Sketch Challenge! I have to admit while I do love a  fun color challenge I also love a fun sketch too! I definitely do love Rose's sketch! 

I used a cute stamp set from Phyllis Harris...Sense of Wonder

I have recently discovered "paper piecing" and decided that her cute little dress needed some fun dsp paper...while going through my endless paper stash this cute yellow checkered dsp jumped out at me and then the rest of the card fell into place...For the background I used water colors...I am also into water coloring a lot these days...

 I love how this turned out with the yellows, blues, and greens...and I love paper piecing...I do need to work on my "fussy cut" skills!

Hi there and Thanks for stopping by! I have been on a crafting binge lately and wanted to share one of my creations...

I made this for Unity's Challenge...Paper Piecing...I am still new to this and already love it...As most of you know I am a CAS (Clean And Simple) kind of card making gal and decided to just do the flower petals...I might try it again and paper piece the stem too...

I used Bloom and Simplify by Angie Blom...

Hi there and Welcome to this week's Can You Case It #148 Color Challenge...

I love the color combo that Elizabeth came up with...I have to admit I am loving these color challenges because it challenges me to think outside the box of my go to colors...

Here is what I came up with for this week's challenge...

I pulled one of my older Unity Stamps for this week's challenge...Shine On...when I saw the colors I thought of this stamp and dug through hoping to find it and I did...I thought these colors would make fun lamp shades!

The Savvy 7 & Friends ~ Luck

Hi all and Welcome to this month's The Savvy 7 & Friends March Blog Hop ~ Luck!

I have to say I had no "Luck" in finding a stamp that would be perfect for St. Patrick's Day or even have the word luck in it! As I continued looking through the stash of stamps I found this one by Angie Blom that made me feel that luck is definitely part of friendship especially when you find that one friend that makes you feel you are lucky to have them in your life...

I went through my DSP stash and decided to have some fun with layers...I used my water colors to paint her...I am happy they way she turned out and I made sure there was green in there!
