Growing in Unity Day 3 ~ Little Moments Big Life

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by again...I can't believe it is day 3! For today's blog post I used a cute little stamp set called Little Moments Big Life...I decided to make 3x3 cards and a kraft bag to put them in...

I love making 3x3 note cards and I thought this would be the perfect set! I used SU! Crumb Cake for the base of the card along with their Whisper White for each of the flowers...for the circle I used my Memory Box Circle Stitch Dies...I love these! I pulled out my Spectrum Noir markers to color the flowers...they and the sentiment are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black...I made 4 cards in all...for the bag I cut it in half...which perfectly fits 3x3 cards! You never know when someone in your life needs a little pick me up or a cute gift...these would be perfect!

Growing in Unity Day 2 ~ Happy 29th Again!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by to check out Day 2! For today's blog post I made a fun birthday card for that friend who will always be 29 no matter how old they are! Instead of a traditional envie I used a kraft bag that I turned on it's side...Both of the sentiment stamps that I used are single stamps...For the base of the envie I once again used a journal card...can you tell I can't get enough of them! I put another 3x4 journal card on top and stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black and a bit of black ribbon to add a little pizzazz...For the card I used my Memory Box Rectangle Stitch Die Cut and stamped the fun sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black...I used a bit of ribbon at the end to help pull the card out of the bag...

Growing In Unity Day 1 ~ You Melt My Heart

Hi there and Welcome to my first day as Growing In Unity Gal! I am super excited to get to do this and to share my CAS (Clean and Simple) Creations with you all...I am definitely the queen of CAS...Today I used one of my stamps that I got in a grab bag...You Melt My Heart...I have recently discovered the wonderful world of journal cards and have been on journal card kick recently...

Here is what I came up with for my first GIU Creation

The journal card that used is from Project Life Favorite Things Edition and when I was going through my single sentiments this one jumped out at me to stamp on the journal card! I used Memento Tuxedo Black and for the base I used a 4x6 kraft chipboard and I added a clothespin to bring it all together...This would be perfect gift to give to someone that means the world to you!

Can You Case It #108

Hi there and Welcome to this week's CYCI Sketch Challenge...

Here is my take...

For this week's challenge I pulled out one of my new favorite Unity Stamps that I recently got...Faceless Beauty by Angie Blom...Instead of making a card this week I made a little plaque that would make a great gift for any friend that they could put on their desk or dresser...The 4x6  journal card that I used if from SU! Everyday Adventure Card Collection from Project Life...I stamped the faceless beauty and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black and used my Spectrum Noir markers to color her...I used my Memory Box stitch dies for her and the sentiment...I like how it turned out!

I used SU! Whisper White as the base of the card and rectangle...I stamped the flower in SU! Rich Razzle Berry and the sentiment in SU! Crumb Cake...For the rectangle I used Memory Box stitch die...

OSAT Blog Hop Love Is In the Air

Hi there and Welcome to this month's OSAT Blog Hop ~ Love is in the Air 

For this month's theme I thought I would do a different kind of Valentine than the norm...I decided to make something that you could give to a friend to let them know what an incredible person they are...

Here is the project I made...

I used Unity's that's life stamp set...after several times coloring in the flowers I decided to leave them as is...I like the black against the bright pink of the journal card I used...the sentiment and flower one is adhered to chipboard which I thought you make a great inspirational plaque to put on a desk...for the base of the plaque I used a 4x6 journal card from Project Life...I stamped the flower and sentiment in Tuxedo Black from Memento...For the card I used SU! Whisper White cardstock and my Memory Box rectangle stitch die...I like how it all turned out and I already have someone in mind to give it to!

CYCI #106

Hi there and Welcome to this week's CYCI #106 Sketch Challenge...

I have to admit that I love this sketch especially with the endless possibilities with what you can do with it!

Here is my take on this week's Sketch...

For this week's sketch I used to journal cards from Project Life's Favorite Things Edition...The sentiment I used id from Unity Stamp Co...for the rectangle I used my Memory Box rectangle stitch die and some green ribbon...I have recently started adding journal cards to my cards and love the combination of it!
