Here is what I came up with for this month's hop...

The other night I was at a friend's house and saw a really fun Thanksgiving banner that she had hanging in her door way and I thought I could make something like that! The next night I started playing around with it...I used Unity Stamp Co. Alphabetically Adorable Stamp Set, Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice Paper for the smaller banner...for the larger banner I used DCWV Burlap Stack...for the burlap part I traced the largest SU! Banner die cut I have and cut it them out by hand...I used SU! ink for the letters...I hung the banner using SU! Brown Sugar Twine and Recollection clothespins on each banner...though it is more for show...each smaller banner is adhered to the large one...I also used two journal cards from the Pumpkin Spice Kit...I just trimmed them down to fit the banner...
Here is the card that I made to go along with the banner...
I used SU! Crumb Cake for the base of my card and then used another Pumpkin Spice journal card but trimmed it down using my Memory Box Square Stitch Die...same for the yellow...SU! Daffodil Delight and used a Recollection clothes pin...Stamped my Paper Smooches sentiment (Memory Box Rectangle Stitch Die) with SU! Chocolate Chip which is my favorite color! I can never get enough of it!
Now here is the fun part...

DSP Daffodil Delight..I stamped the girl and the sentiment on SU! Whisper White...the sentiment was stamped in SU! Chocolate Chip...for the girl I used Spectrum Noir markers...Needless to say I see myself getting more of her stamps!

Hi there and Welcome to this month's OSAT Holiday Blog Hop! This month's theme is Holiday and this is definitely one fun season to make fun gifts for family and friends! For this month's hop I made a wine tag, wine coasters, and a fun tin to put the coasters in...

For the coasters I used cardboard ones that I found on line...I used Hero Arts Winter Sparkle Background stamp...for the ink I used SU! Pear Pizzazz, Lost Lagoon, and Cherry Cobbler...I wanted something fun to put the coasters in and decided to use a CD holder (have had them for years...you never know what you might need it!) I used My Mind's Eye Mistletoe Magic paper on the CD case holder and wine tag (Jaded Blossom Wine Tag Die)...for the bow I used SU! Sheer Linen Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler...I love how it all turned out..definitely will be making these as hostess gifts for the holiday season!

CYCI#94 ~ A Sketch Challenge

Hi there and welcome to this week's CYCI#94! Now that Halloween is behind us and we are moving onto Thanksgiving and Christmas I started pulling out winter and Christmas stamps, embellies, and paper to start working on Christmas cards and anything that has to do with paper crafting!
Here is my card for this week's sketch...
I found this fun paper from American Crafts ~ Wish List ~ I used SU! Crumb Cake (always Kraft to me!) to use as the base of the card..along with the smaller square and for the middle square I used their Basic Black...each of the squares I used my Memory Box Stitched Square Die...love those dies!...I used Unity Stamp's Happy Holiday Wishes for the tree in SU! Real Red and the "Merry Christmas" is also from Unity... Tags Glorious Tags in Memento's Tuxedo Black...  I recently bought some sequins and used them to add a little bit of "bling"...my first attempt on this card!
So now I have been bitten by the "Christmas Card Bug" and will be making more of these!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog for this week's Unity Tuesday Hop! This week I am using one of my favorite kits ~ Let's Get Sip Face ~ It is such a fun kit! I have recently discovered stamping on cork coasters while on Pinterest...I read about it and have started making them...
Here is what I came up with

This was really fun to make! I order the coasters from Amazon and went to town...I used Stazon Black ink and my hubby tested it with a glass of ice water...nothing bled! For the wine tag I used Simple Stories Snap! Color Vibe Color Vibe Collection Turquoise...I stamped this fun stamp on SU! Whisper White with their Real Red Ink...I love how it "pops" with the turquoise...I used Jaded Blossom's wine tag die...love this die...so worth getting it! I tied up the coasters with SU! Real Red ribbon...I thought this would make a great Christmas gift or Hostess Gift...

CYCI #93 ~ Fall Edition

Hi there and Welcome to this week's CYCI Fall Edition
This is definitely my favorite season of the year...there are endless possibilities to come up with this theme...
Here is my take on this week's sketch
For this week's sketch I chose to do a CAS Card...Clean and Simple...For the base of the card I used SU! Crumb Cake...though I still like to call if Kraft :) ...For the patterned paper I used October Afternoon's Apple Cider Harvest...I played around with different sentiments and stamps but then decided on using my Paper Smooches Thanks Word die cut on top of SU! Burlap Ribbon...I actually have two rolls of it since I love it so much! I also used one of my favorite corner punches from Creative Memories that I have had for probably 10 years now...I cornered punch 3 out of the 4 corners which I think gives the card a unique and fun look...

A Sweet Halloween Treat...

Fall is my favorite time of year and I love making fun fall treats for family and friends...
Over the past couple of week I have been making fun Halloween treat bags and needed something sweet in them...after searching Pinterest I found a fun treat to put in the bags that I made...Fall Mix...candy corn, peanuts, carmel popcorn, and peanut m&ms...yum!

I keep a stash of kraft bags that I have found on Etsy because you never know when you need one to make a fun gift with...The embellishments are from Simple Stories Frankie and Friends...I used a couple of different paper companies..Echo Park Hocus Pocus for the purple plaid, The spooky eyes from Recollections, and Tango Twist cardstock from SU!...I also had a variety of fun washi tape that I have in my stash...I filled each of them with the Fall Mix, put them in a plastic bag (from Michaels) and tied them with SU! Blakberry Bliss and Tango Twist...
I had a lot of fun making them and that my friends like them!

Whisper White...I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the stamp and sentiment...I also added a bit of American Craft pink bakers twine...My card was inspired by Unity's own Angeline Choo...I found it on Pinterest...I am a huge Pinterest fan and always looking for inspiration there!

It's Wine O'Clock...

The other day on Pinterest I saw a pin where someone had stamped on a coaster and I thought what a neat idea..luckily a few months ago I bought some chipboard coasters thinking I could use them for something someday...well today is that someday! These are my first attempt and will make improvements along the way...I used Unity Stamp's let's get "sip" faced...love that set and I thought it would be perfect for a wine tag and a set of coasters...I am thinking red since you don't have to chill it which means less smudging of the ink and less wetness on the coaster...I plan to investigate what to use to prevent that..I used American Crafts Shimelle true stories Cappuccino for the base of the wine tag and then SU! Whisper White to stamp the pic and sentiment in SU! Night of Navy...I also used SU! Real Red, Lost Lagoon, and Pear Pizzazz...also a bit of Pear Pizzazz ribbon to tie coasters together...would definitely make a great hostess gift!

Happy Halloween Treat Bag

I definitely have Halloween on the brain these days...I have made several Halloween Treat Bags including this one...I plan on making a Fall Caramel Corn Snack Mix that I found on Pinterest to put in these bags and give them to a couple of co-workers...
Here is my treat bag...
I used a kraft bag that I found on Pinterest a year or two of go...perfect size for a fun Halloween Treat! I stamped Unity Stamp's Distressed Dots for the background...For the squares I used SU! Tango Twist and Echo Park's Hocus Pocus...The two cute embellishments are from Simple Stories Frankie and Friends Bits and Pieces...Knowing me I need something to "tie" it all together and I chosen to use a black clothespin from Recollections..
Thanks for stopping by!
