Boo! Happy Halloween!

Boo! Did I scare you? I made this a couple of weeks ago when the "Halloween Bug" bit me...I love this holiday and have had a lot of fun making gift bags and this card...I used Deadbeat Desgins Ghost die which I think is fun a die...For the base of the card I used SU! Whisper White and their Black cardstock for the ghost die...I have a ton of Halloween stamps and found this one from Studio G which I used Memento's Tuxedo Black...I also dug through my washi tape stash and found this fun web tape which I think fits perfectly with the ghost!

A Sweet Halloween Treat...

Fall is my favorite time of year and I love making fun fall treats for family and friends...
Over the past couple of week I have been making fun Halloween treat bags and needed something sweet in them...after searching Pinterest I found a fun treat to put in the bags that I made...Fall Mix...candy corn, peanuts, carmel popcorn, and peanut m&ms...yum!

I keep a stash of kraft bags that I have found on Etsy because you never know when you need one to make a fun gift with...The embellishments are from Simple Stories Frankie and Friends...I used a couple of different paper companies..Echo Park Hocus Pocus for the purple plaid, The spooky eyes from Recollections, and Tango Twist cardstock from SU!...I also had a variety of fun washi tape that I have in my stash...I filled each of them with the Fall Mix, put them in a plastic bag (from Michaels) and tied them with SU! Blakberry Bliss and Tango Twist...
I had a lot of fun making them and that my friends like them!

Can You Case It #92 Sketch Challenge

Hi there and welcome to this week's Can You Case It Sketch Challenge!
Here is my take on it...

When I saw this week's sketch I searched through my collection of Unity Stamps and pulled out this cute one...Milk and Cookies and went to work...I also pulled out my Spectrum Noir Markers that my husband bought me for my for my birthday...I used Echo Park Homegrown Patterned Paper for the big square...For the small square and base of the card I used SU! Whisper White...I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the stamp and sentiment...I also added a bit of American Craft pink bakers twine...My card was inspired by Unity's own Angeline Choo...I found it on Pinterest...I am a huge Pinterest fan and always looking for inspiration there!
Thanks for stopping by! I can't see what you come up for this week's sketch!

It's Wine O'Clock...

The other day on Pinterest I saw a pin where someone had stamped on a coaster and I thought what a neat idea..luckily a few months ago I bought some chipboard coasters thinking I could use them for something someday...well today is that someday! These are my first attempt and will make improvements along the way...I used Unity Stamp's let's get "sip" that set and I thought it would be perfect for a wine tag and a set of coasters...I am thinking red since you don't have to chill it which means less smudging of the ink and less wetness on the coaster...I plan to investigate what to use to prevent that..I used American Crafts Shimelle true stories Cappuccino for the base of the wine tag and then SU! Whisper White to stamp the pic and sentiment in SU! Night of Navy...I also used SU! Real Red, Lost Lagoon, and Pear Pizzazz...also a bit of Pear Pizzazz ribbon to tie coasters together...would definitely make a great hostess gift!

I used SU! Whisper White for the base of the card and the patterned paper is from Fancy Pants Happy Go Lucky...All of the dies are from Memory Box..Stitched Circles and Squares..I used SU! Chocolate Chip to stamp the sentiment...

Happy Halloween Treat Bag

I definitely have Halloween on the brain these days...I have made several Halloween Treat Bags including this one...I plan on making a Fall Caramel Corn Snack Mix that I found on Pinterest to put in these bags and give them to a couple of co-workers...
Here is my treat bag...
I used a kraft bag that I found on Pinterest a year or two of go...perfect size for a fun Halloween Treat! I stamped Unity Stamp's Distressed Dots for the background...For the squares I used SU! Tango Twist and Echo Park's Hocus Pocus...The two cute embellishments are from Simple Stories Frankie and Friends Bits and Pieces...Knowing me I need something to "tie" it all together and I chosen to use a black clothespin from Recollections..

CYCI#89 Cheers

Welcome back to this week's CYCI Sketch Challenge #89!

 Here is my take...

When I saw this week's sketch I immediately thought washi tape! I have a million and one of them that I have collected over the I grabbed my bin and kept coming across Christmas ones and thought that was a sign to make a Christmas card...I used SU! Whisper White as the base of the card along with the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green for the tag and Cheers sentiment (both from Paper Smooches)...all of the washi tape is from Recollections..I found some red ribbon to add to the tag plus a cute green clothes pin also from Recollections...
Now I am in the mood to make more Christmas Cards!
