OSAT Blog Hop ~ Spring Has Sprung

Hi there and Welcome to this month's OSAT Blop Hop ~ Spring Has Sprung! Spring has definitely sprung here in Northern Virginia! We have gone to temps in the 30's last week to the temps in the 70's and 80's this week! Needless to say I am not complaining! For this month's hop I decided to use one of my new Phyllis Harris from Unity ...Sense of Wonder

Instead of making a card this time I decided to make a 4x6 picture that you could put on a desk or anywhere! I have recently discovered journal cards and making my own...usually for a card but now I I make them to give to friends to put on a desk (or anywhere!) For the base I used a 4x6 piece of sturdy kraft and then I used a 4x6 journal card from Project Life Strawberry Edition...I stamped this adorable stamp set on SU! Whisper White and used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink...I used my Spectrum Noir markers...still definitely working on my coloring skills...For the stitch die I used Craftin Desert Diva's Fancy Frames Dies...I also added a bit of ribbon to tie it all together..Instead of using a regular envie I used a 5x7 polka dot kraft bag I got from Etsy...I  cut it down so that the top would pop through and you could pull it out with the ribbon...I took some burlap ribbon I got from Michael's and wrap it around the bag...for the tag I used one of  my Paper Smooches tag punch to make a gift tag...I used another pink journal card and I stamped with one of my Unity sentiment stamps (which I think goes perfectly with never losing your sense of wonder!) which I got from a Unity grab bag...
